Job Description

Our financial services client is looking for a Digital Project Manager to work a 12-month assignment (40 hrs/week). Candidates must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX 4 days/week (can work from home remaining day). There is potential for the role to be extended after 12-months. 

This role supports the Marketing Technology team by coordinating the delivery of digital experiences from creation through launch. You will manage workflows, ensure readiness, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery across content creation, review, approval, publishing, and launch.
  • Build and manage delivery plans, timelines, and launch schedules.
  • Oversee intake and prioritization; ensure all required inputs are ready for production.
  • Track risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate and resolve blockers.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and status updates.
  • Ensure experiences meet quality, accessibility, and compliance standards.
  • Support launch execution and post-launch follow-up, capturing improvements.

Change Management

  • Document and support process, tool, and workflow changes.
  • Create SOPs, templates, and playbooks to enable scalable delivery.
  • Support adoption of new tools and processes, including training and communications.
  • Reinforce governance, approval workflows, and decision clarity.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years coordinating digital experience delivery (web, CMS, marketing platforms)
  • Strong project management and dependency tracking skills (Agile preferred)
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with change management and process improvement
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, Excel/Smartsheet, Teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale web or platform initiatives
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g., React, Next.js)
  • CMS and content operations experience (headless CMS, DAM, metadata)
  • Experience in regulated environments
  • Ability to build scalable processes and governance frameworks
