Yamaha is seeking to fill a Business Support & Planning Manager II for our facility in Kennesaw, GA. The Business Support & Planning Manager II is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring operational and strategic financial and business plans that support the organization's growth objectives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze costs, identify opportunities for improvement, develop financial and operational forecasts, and drive strategic initiatives.The Business Support & Planning Manager II provides data-driven insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and ensure alignment with company goals.

 What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, prepare, and manage annual budgeting, forecasts, and business and financial plans across departments and Business Units.
  • Responsible for development and preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for DCU with a deep understanding of cost drivers.
  • Analyze business performance, market trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare financial models, business cases, and investment analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance business performance.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, and other business units to align strategic objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Develop executive presentations and reports for leadership meetings.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • 6–9 years of experience in business planning, corporate strategy, financial planning, consulting, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Project/Change management and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and trade compliance software.
