Our well-known healthcare client is seeking a Digital Marketing Director to join their team.

This role is onsite in the Bay Area, 4+ days/week. You'll be supporting one of the most visible and strategically important products in the company's portfolio.

In order to be considered, the Digital Marketing Director must have:

  • Enterprise experience in a highly matrixed environment (regulated industry a plus)
  • Experience owning the full digital marketing strategy for a brand or product, not just an individual channel
  • Strong SEO, GEO, and AEO experience, with a track record of improving digital visibility and discoverability
  • In-house brand and omnichannel marketing experience across web, email, paid media, social, content, and customer journey channels
  • Experience using analytics, testing, and optimization to drive digital marketing performance
  • Healthcare, consumer health, digital health, or product marketing experience preferred

About the Role

They're looking for a Digital Marketing Director to manage a team of 2-3 and own global digital marketing strategy for a highly visible healthcare brand. This role combines leadership with strong digital marketing expertise to drive brand visibility, engagement, and adoption across the digital ecosystem. You'll champion best practices and optimization of digital marketing strategies and tactics as tools evolve, particularly GenAI-based platforms.

Digital Strategy & Planning

  • Own the global digital marketing strategy and content calendar across web, email, paid media, social, CRM, and campaign platforms
  • Translate business objectives into integrated digital marketing plans and campaign roadmaps
  • Drive brand visibility, discoverability, and engagement across digital channels
  • Ensure messaging and experiences are optimized for audience, channel, and journey stage

Emerging Tools & GenAI Optimization

  • Leverage emerging digital marketing tools, including GenAI-based platforms, to optimize content creation, personalization, campaign performance, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with analytics, marketing technology, and commercial teams to evaluate and scale AI-enabled solutions
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach to automation, AI-assisted insights, and workflow optimization to continuously improve digital performance and team productivity

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
