CNC Maintenance Technician
Location: Johnson Creek, WI
Employment Type: 1st shift. Plus some weekends as needed.

Saelens Corporation is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and keep our CNC-driven manufacturing operations running at peak performance. In this role, you will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs, mentor a team of skilled technicians, and serve as the primary technical resource for all machinery and facility systems. CNC Machinery Maintenance
* Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC lathes, mills, routers, and other precision equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
* Calibrate and align CNC equipment to maintain accuracy and operational efficiency.
* Monitor machine wear and manage parts replacement proactively.
Team Leadership & Scheduling
* Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring quality execution.
* Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development support.
* Foster a team culture built on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work Order & Maintenance Management
* Create, schedule, and track work orders for both preventive and corrective maintenance using maintenance software.
* Ensure timely and accurate updates on task completion, and equipment status.
Education & Experience
* High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, including 3+ years working directly with CNC machinery.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency with maintenance software for work order management, scheduling, and reporting.
* In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery operation, programming, and maintenance.
* Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, and Haas.
Leadership & Soft Skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a maintenance team.
* Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt quickly to changing production needs.
