Nurse Manager - CCS/Respite

Seeking a Nurse Manager for the Riverside Community Care Behavioral Health Services Division!

In this important role, the Nurse Manager oversees the provision of health services to the people served by the Behavioral Health Services Division (BHS).

The Nurse Manager will:

  • oversee/manage the provision of health services to the people served by the program
  • manage a team of LPN and nursing staff at the programs, providing clinical and administrative supervision
  • work half time providing managerial oversight and half time providing direct care
  • take the lead on medical and nursing issues within the program
  • take vital signs & fill physician orders
  • oversee the medication administration system
  • coordinate medical care
  • contribute to comprehensive assessments including substance withdrawal
  • use assessment tools such as Clinical Opioid Withdrawal Scale (COWS), Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment for Alcohol (CIWA), and Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment for Benzodiazepines (CIWA B)

Schedule: 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on program and operational needs  

Salary: $102,999.00/year

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver’s License and regular access to a reliable vehicle

Required Experience

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse required. Must be in good standing with the Board of Registration of Nursing. BSN preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ nursing experience
  • Minimum of 1 years working in a behavioral health setting
  • Experience with addictions and Medication Assisted Treatment
  • At least one year of supervisory/managerial experience preferred
